STOLEN!
Kurt is very, very upset. Kristin is heartbroken. There is a reward – please contact at the address shown in the images, no questions asked.
Kurt had with him a stuffed pig, “Jungle Pig,” on tour in Brasil.
While on stage in RibeirÃ?£o Preto, he was STOLEN. He belongs to Kurt’s best friend (and our graphic designer), Kristin, and is a very important keepsake to her. Please, if you know where he is or know who has taken him, return him to his rightful owner.
He was taken from Kurt, and was last seen with someone who bought two t-shirts and admitted they’d stolen him. The pig-napper left before anybody could do anything to stop him.

Good point. If not here, where can you comment about Insoc? Free speech is important and you are more than encouraged to comment as you will.
And that goes for anyone who wants to comment. There has been some displeasure with the Brazilian television performances. But from videos I’ve seen, the shows were really good. Don’t be so quick to judge. As we all know, television isn’t always the truth. And when you’re dealing with a language and cultural difference, understanding and cultural colloquialisms or characteristics or personal idiosyncrasies and personas, there is a little… or a lot… that can be lost in the translation.
But regardless of your beliefs or your opinion of the performance, it is absolutely NOT… I repeat NOT ok to throw around such vile insults and profane language. Criticize all you want. And if you can make your point without screaming and swearing and insulting, than you may just have a chance to get someone’s attention and persuade people to your ideas. But when you’re flat out rude and mean, less people listen to you and all you do is alienate yourselves from other fans and create a public menace.
Try and make your point without being characteristically insulting or mean. It will be more receptive even if it isn’t the popular opinion.
With that, I don’t care how old you are, personally insulting a moderator of this website, poking at the pain of her loss of a treasured item, and instigating even more hurt and attempting to garner more attention through insult will not be tolerated.
WILL.NOT.BE.TOLERATED.
There is no reason to drag others into this in that manner. Or at all. It was incredibly rude and a seriously low blow.
It is possible to have an opinion, and to dislike someone or something, without being so mean about it. I know you are passionate about Information Society. I am too. To an extent that you may not believe. And I have been disappointed with my idols and admirations at times before. And when that happens, yes, I get upset. And then I think about all the good things that they have given me before. Whether it’s Pet Shop Boys, Tears for Fears, Erasure, InSoc, or whoever. You can comment without insult.
And in this forum, where you are free to say what you want, we only ask that you do so politely.

Manoel I agree with you, Administrator I think is right to demand respect. But Kurt has caused disappointment in his fans no explanation, we are sad and I say, personally, do not want to see this guy anymore in my country anymore. He has no respect for people who both waited, he does not even have education.
