Yeah, if you goto groovetickets.com and type in search box for “Information Society” it will pull up both city tours.
One in Dallas on March 20 and one in Houston on March 21.
Ticket are ridiculously cheap @ $10!

I just hope they are doing “Growing Up With Shiva” again. My wife and I saw them in Austin and we live in Dallas. Now we don’t have to go far to see them again.

I’m sure it was a great show.. BUT.. 4 of us couldn’t get in because of the DRESS CODE? @#$@#????? Is this 1959??? Dress Codes??? At an INSOC concert?? WTF. Trying to get a refund for 4 tickets now. Sucks. I’m bummed and disappointed. Maybe next time hook up with a less pseudo-elitist promoter?? Fuck roguescene. Looks like everyplace they put on events has this drunk yuppie republican vibe. Very un-INSOC.

Heard about the Houston show at the last minute and tried to buy 3 tickets, but the online ticket sales interface threw an error that indicated the event was closed 45 minutes before the deadline indicated.
In addition the club never answered the phone when I attempted to check if the show was sold out. Regardless, glad I didn’t make the 1 hour drive to be turned away due to a dress code that djvirto mentioned.

Sorry to hear about so many people being turned away because of dress code. Chris and I weren’t too fond of the club ourselves…rude crowd wouldn’t stop chatting away while the guys were playing…I was about to kick some *@$!*^ ass, especially as I was walking out and a certain perv slid his finger down my body, not a crowd I would perform to. The great news…after the 3 hour and 20 minute drive to Houston…we were very pleased to see them again
The guys rocked it and I had a blast singing along and watchin’ James play his bass 
Next time talk to me guys about booking

thanks for letting me know you guys came to TEXAS, I just found out!!! What’s the point being on a mailing list? Fuck I’m pissed!! This is the second time in less than a year I found out the band was in TEXAS and still waiting since ‘88 to see you guys live!!!

An announcement for the Texas shows was sent on 3/3/09 from insoc-list@hakatak.com shortly after it was announced on this website. The web version of that email is still available at http://informationsociety.fanbridge.com/campaigns/show.php?id=508944. There’s also the option to add this website’s feed to an RSS feed reader so you can receive updates as they’re posted here, and InSoc’s profiles on MySpace, LiveJournal, Facebook, YouTube, Imeem, and Last.fm are updated regularly. If you’re in Texas but didn’t hear about the Dallas or Houston shows through local media, blame the promoter.
