A new InSoc album after all these years? I\’d long given up hope of hearing anything new from the band that made me realize I wanted to be an electronic musician when I grew up. I feel like I just won the lottery!

really digging Burning Bridges
August 17th, 2007 at 7:11 pm
Guys, I am so happy right now, I like all the tracks and love ” Run Away “, if I had to describe it, I’d say this song is either from the year 2107 or a very advanced alternative 2007 era….. this is definately so Information Society style…. almost made me forget what reality I lived in…. maybe I took it way out of context but thats what great music does, it makes you feel what you want to feel…… Thank you.

I just got the cd last friday and I’ve already drove my co workers crazy, i just played the cd all day saturday, i really loved it, specially “seeds” that was a great surprise for everyone that wanted new songs with kurt’s voice, hope that we get a remix of that song too, i suck at mixing, so i’ll leave that to the kain and kasino guys, GET THE CD IT’S WORTH THE WAIT.

w00t got mine on Saturday. I have been playing it non-stop. My kids love it. My wife is going crazy and well . . . I just have to say. I like the way you werk it.
August 27th, 2007 at 4:44 pm
Wow….just WOW. I expected something quality but I had no idea you would trump every single thing you have done previously. This year has been a huge year for good music – VNV Nation, Erasure, Pride and Fall, Red Flag’s return…and this album beats them all by miles. I am just in awe of how fresh and retro it sounds at the same time. I love Kurt, but Chris is just as excellent and I hope we get to see INSOC live down here in Orlando FL!!! Awesome job!!
August 28th, 2007 at 4:31 pm
I got the CD today. All I can say is that Paul Robb did an outstanding job with this CD. Seeds of Pain is my favorite song on the CD…very intense song by Kurt. Probably the most intense Insoc song since Running.
August 29th, 2007 at 11:46 am
Got the CD Saturday and it’s amazing! Oldskool INSOC flavor with a more modern production sound. And even occasional moments that sound distinctly THINK TANK-y, for all of us who bought everything Hakatak 1.0 made.
Also, I second Chad – PJR and friends are *always* welcome in Orlando.
August 29th, 2007 at 3:12 pm
Congratulations on getting the full release out. Finally, the world will hear Burning Bridges in all its glory!
(IMO the best Information Society-with-Paul song since Peace and Love, Inc.)

Hey! Synthesizer me!
August 31st, 2007 at 9:21 am
Thank you for staying true to your sound! This will be truly sweet…
September 1st, 2007 at 6:37 am
I have the new ‘Synthesizer’ album playing in my ears now and it is totally beyond amazing! It is beyond anything I ever dreamed and the production and EQ is rock solid! Thank you, Paul Robb for over 20 years of incredible music that make you think and want to dance! MASTERPIECE!
September 2nd, 2007 at 2:34 pm
The album arrived in Germany on 1st of September. Ingenious stuff my friends! You’ve never been away! It’s such a good feeling to have you back on actual DJ-playlists. I ever knew what I was missing for such a long time. But there’s one thing for sure I have to tell: The songs are all great – yeah, but the greatest song of the album is the one with Kurt doing the vocals – I’m sorry – I think this voice could not be replaced in any way. The last one on the album but I hope it will not be the last one!!! Go on – move forward – we still need you here.

Yes, dear musicians.
Synthpop is a 2-sided coin: the dark and the light side.
You are the only band that appeals to both sides, lightyears ahead of any other.”

I received my copy yesterday, popped it in my cd player and loved loved loved every song. The synth beats and arrangements are amazing. I have followed this group since I was 13 and it’s nice to see them get back to what really made them popular. Two minor complaints – Kurt Harland is not on this cd, even in one song appearance – I really wished he were on there. Don’t get me wrong, Mr. Anton has a great voice, I’m just not used to him yet. Second minor complaint – where is the synth instrumental, like “To the City” or”A Knife and a Fork”? I always loved those arrangements and really wish you would’ve included one on this cd. Anyway – this cd is perfection – you did such a good job. Thank You and please come to Detroit – would love to the band live!
September 11th, 2007 at 10:16 am
You must have a rare copy of Synthesizer because mine has Kurt singing “The Seeds of Pain” on it.
September 11th, 2007 at 3:02 pm
No Star Trek samples??!! “I have and always shall be..a Kurt fan.” None the less, Chris is the man. Absolute perfect fit! Is he a clone or an Information Society lead vocal android that was created to make sure the sound stayed true forever? So pumped to have new stuff! Thank you, and keep it coming for the next twenty years.
September 11th, 2007 at 4:56 pm
Okay, just noticed that one of my complaints is bull shit – Kurt is on the CD – last song – ha ha. Thanks Lackey for pointing that out to me.
September 25th, 2007 at 10:40 am
Hey, I ordered Synthesizer from amazon and got it about 2 weeks ago. I have listened to it and love it. It is definetly similar to the sound the insoc is famous for. It also has some elements that sound dark as in Kurt’s Insoc album. I really thought I would never here insoc again but I am so glad that they decided to continue on. Great job guys.
September 27th, 2007 at 2:27 pm
Synthesizer is a decent album. I feel the best song, by far, was Seeds of Pain. I shouldn’t have to say why, but I will, it’s because of Kurt. Anton has a decent enough singing voice – but to me it’s just doesn’t set with InSoc melody. Although I do wish him the best and I give him an “A” for effort for trying to fill the shoes of Harland. Until then, I’ll wait for a new album that’s 100% Harland, Robb, and Cassidy.
October 1st, 2007 at 3:10 pm
Just returned from a 6 month deployment and it was great to have “Synthesizer” here awaiting my arrival, every song is great.
I look forward to more INSOC for years to come!!
October 3rd, 2007 at 3:00 pm
I predict RUN AWAY will be another Paul Robb break out hit. Please excuse me, now, so that I can listen to it again.

That music is absolutely brilliant, and I’m not really into that kind of music
